Leiden University Appoints Anti-Human Rights Professor.

Leiden University.

Leiden University employ Professor Adam Fairclough, author on American Civil Rights.

But Professor Adam Fairclough does not support everyone's Human Rights.

Shame on Leiden University.

 Communication Blocked ?

An alarm had been going off all afternoon, in our street.
No-one takes any notice of alarms anymore, except for the direct neighbours.

Then, a fire engine pulls up.
(Perhaps I should have investigated ?)

Shortly afterwards, a call for digital thermal cameras to be sent was heard.
Over my computer speakers.

My mobile broadband internet signal goes down,
likewise my mobile phone.

An hour later, there are still no police, no ambulances, nothing.

The Fire Brigade have now gone and all is quiet again.
And I can now get on the web and make calls.

How strange ?

 We Mourned And Moved On.

When I was young er, live fast die young was the motto.
As it was for my similar aged peers.

Death happened to other people.
Usually older people.
We mourned them then moved on.

As we get older, life becomes more precious.
Our own children plug us into our mortality.
We slow down, take care and think of the future.

Death still haunts us.
We mourn and take even longer to move on.
We become fearful of death.

Afraid of the inevitable !?
Pretending there is a choice ?!
Not now but later.

It would be tragic if it wasnt comic.

Its Not Their Fault. Its Ours.

Another possible 'hate crime' in the press and another death.
Reports of 'packs of yobs' roaming our estates and 'unsafe' streets.

'More Police', comes the call.
'Spy on your neighbours', some London councils have already called.

All this happens because WE allow it.

WE dont get involved anymore.
WE dont talk to our neighbours.
WE dont look out for each other anymore.
WE dont unite and fight back.

Dont - Wont.

WE have no one to blame but ourselves.
